The Franklin in Knightsbridge is one of the Star Hotel group’s Collezione brand, the most luxurious of its 29 hotels across Europe. It is formed from a row of characterful Victorian townhouses and has been lovingly refurbished to create a sophisticated and elegant London hideaway.

Guests can enjoy luxurious rooms that overlook Egerton Gardens, Michelin-starred chef Alfredo Russo’s exquisite menu in the restaurant and cocktails in the bustling champagne bar.

With stunning interiors throughout, globally renowned interior designer Anouska Hempel created the guest room vision with mirrored furniture and velvet and silk fabrics – a perfect balance of classic style and modern luxury.

Hotel guests should be able turn off all of their room lights or adjust the air conditioning from the side of the bed – that everything in a hotel room should be instinctive to use and beautiful to look at.

VIVID were chosen because they could provide bespoke high-end touch screen mirrored glass switch plates and co-ordinating bespoke room numbers which included key card housing, “do-not-disturb” and “make-up-room” housekeeping notifications.
